Ghee Palgova is a delicious and simple sweet. The addition of ghee makes it sinful. This recipe is courtesy of Venusitas and was first published in Flavours magazine.
- 4.5litres water
- 2.5kg sugar
- 600g ghee
- 1.1kg milk powder
- Pour the water and sugar into a pot and cook for five minutes over medium heat, stirring well.
- Add ghee and milk powder and cook for 70 minutes, stirring well to avoid mixture from burning.
- Pour the mixture into a big tray and cover with a plastic wrap. Leave to sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours before cutting.
