Recipe Description

There are some food that don’t taste the same when we take-away (da-bao). For example, my favourite claypot loh shi fun. This dish can appease our craving for claypot loh shi fun while we’re at home!

Recipe Ingredient

  • 300-400g loh shi fun (laksa pendek)
  • 100g minced pork
  • 1 egg
  • 4 clove of garlic
  • Light soy sauce
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Sweet soy sauce
  • Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Boil loh shi fun for 5 mins, discard water, and put aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, add 2 tablespoons of light sauce soy, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce, and 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix well.
  3. Slice garlic and stir-fry in wok for 3 mins (or until brown).
  4. Add minced pork to wok and stir-fry for 5 mins.
  5. In a separate bowl, add to wok, stir-fry for 1 min.
  6. Add sauce into wok from step 2.
  7. Add loh shi fun from step 1.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Serve while hot.
