Recipe Ingredient

  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1cup pitted cherries
  • 1tbsp shallots
  • 1tsp garlic
  • 1/4cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2cup chicken stock
  • 1tbsp sage, chopped
  • 1tbsp unsalted butter
  • olive oil
  • salt


  1. In a pan heat up the olive oil. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and sear until cooked through. Remove from the pan and place on a plate.
  2. Add more oil in the pan if necessary and put in the shallots and garlic. Stir for 1 minute. Add in the cherries and cook for another minute.
  3. Add in the balsamic vinegar and stir to deglaze the pan. When the vinegar has almost evaporated add in the chicken stock and sage and cook for 2 minutes until reduced. Remove from heat and stir in the butter.
  4. Season with salt and pour this on top of the chicken breasts.
