Headed by Dutch executive chef Mathijs Nanne, the restaurant definitely lives up to its reputation of serving haute cuisine that’s imaginative and inspired.

Complemented with an extensive wine list, the dishes are stunningly simple yet delicious.

Housed in the restored seaside heritage manor of Leong Yin Kean, the eatery prepares diners for a unique experience.

Expect something new with each visit as the menu would undergo partial changes every few months with monthly special promotions and treats.

Start off with appetisers such as pan-seared scallop and smoked duck with celeriac (knob celery) remoulade, balsamic and lemongrass reduction; and beetroot and feta ravioli with dried cranberry, rocket, almond and basil beurre noisette.

The king prawn and blue crab salad with coconut and yoghurt, ruby grapefruit and vanilla dressing as well as Oriental and Western mushroom soup with grana pardano and basil come highly recommended.

Popular mains consist of baked salmon with almond and cranberry crust, slow- cooked potato, wilted rocket and king oyster mushroom and lime beurre blanc.
