Cooking traditional comfort food with Marina Mustafa

MARINA Mustafa is a well-known chef who is capable of different cooking styles, both traditional and unconventional.

In her cookbook, Cooking Under Pressure, she shows the benefits of cooking with a pressure cooker which not only saves time but also brings out the flavours as well as it gives a nice texture to the dish.

For those who do not have a pressure cooker, Marina also shows the conventional method of making the dishes. Here are three comfort food from the cookbook:

This one-pot meal is usually served on the 10th day of Muharram, the first month in the Muslim calendar. It has rice, beans, lentils, vegetables, nuts and so on.
