Recipe Ingredient

  • 500g mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons Rice flour
  • 3 tablespoons Wheat flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, to taste


  1. Rinse the mushrooms
  2. Soak them in hot water for 2 minutes
  3. Remove the mushrooms from hot water and immediately soak them in a bowl of cold water for another 2 minutes
  4. Remove the mushrooms from cold water and pull out excess water from the mushrooms
  5. Put the mushrooms in an empty bowl
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of corn flour, 2 tablespoons of rice flour and 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  7. Mix all the ingredients together
  8. Add salt to taste, 1 tablespoon of black pepper powder and 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  9. Crack an egg in the same bowl
  10. Mix well
  11. Pour some oil into a wok
  12. Once the oil is heated up, put in the mushrooms in small batches
  13. Deep fry the mushrooms for five minutes (or until they turn golden brown) and take them off the wok
  14. Remove excess oil from the mushrooms
  15. The frying step is repeated for the remaining batches of mushrooms
  16. Serve the mushrooms hot
