Recipe Ingredient

  • 200g sweet potatoes
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp finely grated lime rind


  1. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into thin slices or thin strips.
  2. Combine the chilli power, salt and lime rind together.
  3. Heat oil in a wok. Add sweet potato slices in batches and deep-fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until crisp.
  4. Remove onto a plate lined with several pieces of paper towels. Sprinkle sweet potatoes with combined salt mixture.
