Recipe Ingredient

  • 300g minced meat (chicken and pork, half portion each)
  • 1-2 tbsp plain flour
  • (A)
  • 30g onion, chopped
  • 3 waterchestnuts, minced
  • 50g minced carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp chicken stock powder
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Pinch of sugar


  1. Combine meat with ingredients (A). Stir in seasoning. Mix well until mixture has a sticky texture.
  2. Divide mixture into small equal portions and form into balls. Coat the meatballs with a little flour.
  3. Deep-fry in hot oil over medium low heat until golden and cooked through. Dish out and skewer 2 meatballs each in a satay skewer. Serve with chilli dipping sauce.
