Recipe Ingredient

  • 1 can Pacific clams
  • 50g spaghetti, cooked till al dente
  • 4 shallots, finely sliced
  • 1 unripe mango, finely shredded
  • 1 fresh red chilli, sliced
  • 6 bird´s eye chillies, finely sliced
  • 2 stalks lemon grass, thinly sliced
  • 4-5 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce or to taste
  • 1 tbsp sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Dash of pepper
  • 2 tbsp Thai sweet chilli sauce

Instructions

  1. Drain Pacific clams from the can and refresh in ice-cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the dressing by combing lime juice, fish sauce, sesame oil, Thai sweet chilli sauce and pepper in a bowl. Add lemon grass, bird´s eye chillies and red chilli.
  3. Add Pacific clams, spaghetti, shallots, unripe mango into the dressing ingredients. Toss well to combine and serve immediately. The salad should taste sour, hot and sweet.
