Recipe Ingredient

  • 250g minced beef
  • 1 boiled potato, mashed
  • 1 Bombay onion, finely chopped
  • Seasoning:
  • 1 tsp meat curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 - 5 burger buns
  • Some slices of tomato
  • Cucumber, sliced thinly
  • Some lettuce leaves
  • A little mayonnaise


  1. Put minced beef, mashed potato and seasoning together into a large mixing bowl. Add chopped onion and mix well to combine.
  2. Shape the well-mixed minced beef mixture into round shapes of burgers of about 1cm thick. Brush each burger lightly with corn oil, then shallow-fry until burgers are cooked on both sides.
  3. Serve burgers on buns with cucumber, tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise. You may use chilli sauce if you prefer.
