Recipe Ingredient

  • (A):
  • 250g salted butter
  • 90g brown sugar
  • 70g caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 8 tsp full cream milk
  • (B):
  • 1 egg
  • (C):
  • 300g all-purpose flour
  • 10g cocoa powder
  • 8g soda bicarbonate
  • 8g baking powder
  • (D):
  • 80g almond flakes/walnuts or your favourite nuts, chopped fine
  • 250g chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  2. Beat ingredients (A) until everything is combined. Add ingredient (B) and beat till combined.
  3. Add ingredients (C) and fold in to combine. Add ingredients (D) and fold in to combine. Place half teaspoons of dough, spaced slightly apart, on a cookie sheet and bake for 18 to 22 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and cool cookies completely before storing in an airtight container.
