Recipe Ingredient

  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 90g icing sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tssp vanilalla essencet
  • Sift:
  • 180g plain flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • Slivered almonds


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease baking trays lightly with corn oil. Beat butter, egg yolk, icing sugar and essence until creamy and light.
  2. Add in the plain and rice flour; mix. Take a small piece of dough and roll into a ball. Place on a greased tray about 3cm apart. Shape cookies or pipe the shapes according to your liking.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove on to a wire rack to cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
