Recipe Ingredient

  • 6 tbsp self-raising flour
  • 6 tbsp plain flour
  • 6 tbsp cornflour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper (optional)
  • Enough water
  • 2 tbsp oil


  1. Combine the three different flours in a mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Pour in enough water gradually to make a batter. It should have the consistency of pancake batter.
  3. Do not add too much water or the batter will be diluted. Stir in oil at the final stage.
