Recipe Ingredient

  • 100g sweet almond washed
  • 15g bitter almond
  • 1 litre water
  • 5-6 tbsp castor sugar
  • 160ml evaporated milk


  1. Soak both the almonds for at least 2-2½ hours. Drain and put the almonds together with the water in a processing machine. Blend until fine. Strain the liquid through a fine muslin cloth.
  2. Pour the strained liquid into a pot. Stir in sugar and bring to a boil. Add the evaporated milk and bring the cooked almond tea away from the heat. Serve immediately.
