Recipe Description

There are many claims of the health benefits of lemon, ginger and lemongrass tea. Some says it helps you to loss weight, others say it is for flu relief.

This is a home remedy I have tried and love. The pungent taste might be a turn off for many but add a little honey and it is all good to drink.

Recipe Ingredient

  • 250ml hot water
  • A few lemon slices
  • 2 inch ginger, crushed
  • 4 inch lemongrass, crushed
  • Honey (optional)


  1. Place lemon, ginger and lemongrass in a cup/ mug/ small pot.
  2. Add hot water and let it sit for 20 minutes before serving with honey (optional).
