Recipe Ingredient

  • 225g Anchor Unsalted Butter
  • 50g sugar
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 20g egg yolk
  • 5g vanilla extract
  • 270g all purpose flour
  • 25g corn flour
  • 10g cocoa powder
  • 10g red colouring
  • 5g salt
  • dessicated coconut, misc


  1. Preheat oven to 175C
  2. Place softened Anchor Unsalted Butter in a bowl, and mix with sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla essence and mix well
  4. Sieve in the flour, corn flour and cocoa powder, mix well
  5. Add in food colouring and salt, and mix well
  6. Weigh out 10g of cookie, and roll into a ball
  7. Coat cookie in dessicated coconut an press the centre of the cookie
  8. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until fully cooked
