Recipe Ingredient

  • 200g unripe mango, coarsely grated
  • 200g half-ripe papaya, coarsely grated
  • 1 tbsp dried prawns, washed and pounded
  • (A):
  • 2 red chillies, seeded
  • 1/2 tsp belacan stock granules or 2cm square piece of belacan, grilled
  • (B):
  • 1 tbsp castor sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients (A) in a blender. Whisk until fine. Mix in ingredients (B) to combine. Remove into a mixing bowl. Add dried prawns and toss in mango and papaya to mix. Place salsa on a serving platter or onto any carved-out fruit to serve.
