Recipe Ingredient

  • Pastry dough:
  • 100g butter
  • 50g icing sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 180g plain flour, sifted
  • 15g milk powder
  • Filling:
  • 175g cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 90g icing sugar
  • 75g durian flesh, mashed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  1. Beat butter and icing sugar. Add lemon juice and beat until fluffy. Add in egg and mix well. Fold in flour and milk powder. Mix to form a smooth dough.
  2. Roll out pastry dough on a flat surface. Line a lightly-greased 20cm pie tin with the pastry. Bake blind in preheated oven at 170 ºC for 15 minutes or until half cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. For the filling, beat cream cheese and icing sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well. Stir in durian flesh, then add lemon juice to mix.
  4. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 ºC for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden and set. Remove from oven to cool.
