Recipe Ingredient

  • I cup white fragrant rice (wash and drain)
  • 1½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 chicken whole leg (chopped)
  • 1 stalk spring onion (dice)
  • Chicken Marinate:
  • 1 tbsp Angel Brand Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Angel Brand Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp starch


  1. Marinate chicken with marinating ingredients for half hour, set aside.
  2. Rinse rice and place into claypot together with chicken broth. Cover the lid and bring to boil while stirring regularly. Turn to low heat, continue to cook about 5 minutes until water is almost absorbed by the rice.
  3. Arrange chicken on top of rice and pour over sauce. Cover with lid. Continue to cook in high heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and simmer for another 10 minutes. Claypot Chicken Rice is ready to serve.
