Recipe Ingredient

  • Basic Syrup:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 pandan leaves - knotted


  1. Place sugar, water and pandan leaves in a deep saucepan.
  2. Bring to the boil, lower heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove pandan leaves and strain the syrup.
  4. Leave to cool for use as a basic syrup.
  5. You can store the basic syrup in a bottle in the refrigerator.
