- 300g winter melon, seeded and cubed
- 200g prawns, shelled
- 3 tbsp dried prawns, pounded
- 3 tbsp sambal belacan
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 grated coconut, squeezed for coconut milk
- 350ml water
- Fry garlic and dried prawns in hot oil until fragrant. Add prawns and pour in coconut milk and water.
- Add sambal belacan and put in winter melon. Bring to boil, then simmer until winter melon is cooked and just soft. Adjust seasoning to taste, then dish out to serve immediately.
