Recipe Ingredient

  • 1 box silken soft beancurd
  • 50g minced lean pork
  • A dash of salt, sugar and pepper
  • A few drops sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp cornflour
  • Seasoning (A) (combined)
  • 1 tsp shallot oil
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • Sauce (B)
  • 1/2 tsp Hua Tiau wine
  • 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • A dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp chicken stock granules
  • 3/4 tbsp water
  • Garnishing
  • Chopped red chillies and spring onion


  1. Carefully remove the beancurd from the box. Place it in a heatproof dish. Add combined seasoning (A) and rub lightly over the beancurd.
  2. Marinate minced pork with salt, pepper, sugar, sesame oil and cornflour. Spread over the beancurd. Pour combined sauce ingredients (B) over, and steam over rapidly boiling water for 10 minutes. Add garnishing and serving immediately.
