PALM Garden Hotel IOI Resort is offering a different style of dining this Chinese New Year.

Diners could either tuck into the Chinese New Year buffet at Palms Café or indulge in the Thai and Nyonya set menus at Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant.

At Palms Café, executive sous chef Sim Hoong Sam and his team have picked out the favourites such as Shark’s Fin Soup with Crabmeat, Stir Fried Venison with Spring Onion and Ginger, Butter Prawns with Cheese Sauce and Chinese Roasted Duck with Flower Buns.

The buffet is available for lunch and dinner at RM48++ per person for lunch and RM58++ per person for dinner. Children enjoy a 40% discount.

At Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant, you have a choice of three set menus and each menu caters to a table of 10 persons.

The menus are Great Feast Menu priced at RM488++, Great Fame Menu at RM588++ and Great Fortune Menu at RM688++.

All set menus are served with Thai Style Yee Sang with a variation of fresh fish and seafood. this version has a dash of spiciness in the sauce.

Other than yee sang, the Great Feast Menu serves up a Twin Hot and Cold Combination, Tom Yam Soup with Seafood, Braised Siakap with Nyonya Acar, Stir Fried Prawn Meat with Cashewnut served in Crispy Yam Ring, Steamed Chicken Thai Style, Steamed Mixed Vegetables with Abalone Sauce and Thai Fried Glass Noodles.

For dessert, guests will receive a Mixed Thai dessert prepared by the Thai chef Seeri.

The Great Fame menu serves Thai-style Yee Sang with Salmon and Jelly Fish along with a Four Seasons Combination for starters and followed by Tom Yam Soup with Fresh Water Prawns, Steamed Garoupa Thai Style, Sauteed King Prawn with Roasted Chili, Thai Sesame Chicken with Mango Salad, Claypot Seafood with Mushrooms and Glass Noodles, Broccoli with Abalone Sauce, Fried Rice with Seafood and Mixed Thai Desserts.

If hot and spicy tom yam soup is not your favourite, try the Great Fortune Menu which serves Shark’s Fin Soup with Crabmeat along with Four Seasons Combination, Steamed Red Garoupa with Asam Nyonya Style, Sauteed King Prawn with Nyonya Ginger Chili, Claypot Fish Maw with Seafood and Mushroom, Steamed Kai Choy with Abalone Sauce and Crabmeat and Pineapple Rice with Seafood. This menu includes Mixed Thai Desserts and Four Combination Dessert served with Ice.

The CNY Set Menus are available for lunch and dinner. Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner from Thursday to Saturday.

The Chinese New Year Buffet at Palms Café is also available for lunch during weekdays and dinner from Monday to Saturday.
