This recipe is best with
- 700gm Russet potatoes - peeled and sliced (1cm thick)
- 50gm-melted butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Slice the potatoes, arranging the slices evenly, to the top of a baking dish.
- Add the seasoning.
- Pour in the melted butter. Bake at 200ºC for about 30 minutes.
- When brown, drain off the excess butter. Bake another 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Invert the cooked potato on to a serving dish.
- Serve as a side dish to an entrée.
