Recipe Ingredient

  • 700gm Russet potatoes - peeled and sliced (1cm thick)
  • 50gm-melted butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Slice the potatoes, arranging the slices evenly, to the top of a baking dish.
  2. Add the seasoning.
  3. Pour in the melted butter. Bake at 200ºC for about 30 minutes.
  4. When brown, drain off the excess butter. Bake another 5 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
  6. Invert the cooked potato on to a serving dish.
  7. Serve as a side dish to an entrée.
