Recipe Ingredient

  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 200ml UHT milk
  • 1 egg
  • 40g French beans, finely sliced
  • 30g carrot, finely chopped
  • 40g fresh sweet corn kernels
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • Seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1½ tsp chicken stock granules


  1. Sift flour into a mixing bowl and pour in milk. Beat in the egg and add melted butter to mix.
  2. Add French beans, carrot, corn kernels and seasoning. Mix into a thick batter.
  3. Lightly grease a round egg ring mould with corn oil. Place the ring in a non-stick saucepan. Pour in half a ladleful of batter into the ring. Cook over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes. Use a spatula to ease out the pancake, then remove the egg ring. Flip the pancake over to cook the other side for a minute.
  4. Serve the pancakes immediately.
