Recipe Ingredient

  • Noodles
  • 1kg thick yellow noodles (Tai Lok Mee)
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup light soy sauce
  • 6 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 100g garlic, chopped finely
  • Salt and Sugar to taste
  • Meats and Vegetables
  • 150g medium size prawn (without shell and de-vein)
  • 120g slice pork
  • 1pc fish cake (slice thinly)
  • 300g cabbage
  • 300g mustard greens
  • Garnish
  • 200g shallot, cut finely and fry till golden brown
  • 300g pork fat, cut cube and fry until golden brown together with lard


  1. Scald the noodles for 2 minutes to remove alkaline content, drain water, and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in wok and fry garlic.
  3. Add A and water.
  4. Bring noodles to a boil until soft.
  5. Add in the garnish.
  6. Noodles put onto a large plate and serve hot.
