Recipe Ingredient

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, diced
  • 1/2 cups of sago
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 tablespoon of brown sugar syrup (Sirap gula merah)
  • evaporated creamer (susu sejat)
  • nata de coco
  • Red food coloring


  1. Add 500ml of water in a pot.
  2. Bring it to boil in medium heat.
  3. Add sago.
  4. Keep stirring to avoid sago sticking together.
  5. Cover and cook over medium heat.
  6. Add water as needed until sago is cooked and translucent.
  7. Add 4 drops of red food coloring before straining the water out.
  8. Leave it for 2 minutes.
  9. Drain the water.
  10. Leave it to cool under room temperature.
  11. Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup in a tall glass.
  12. Add 5 tablespoons of sago.
  13. Add fresh mango cubes and nata de coco.
  14. Pour a decent amount of evaporated creamer. (As shown in picture above)
  15. Chill it in the refrigerator and your very own tropical paradise is ready.
