Recipe Ingredient

  • 4 crispy fried Chinese crullers (Yu Tiao, store-bought)
  • fried shallot crisps
  • toasted sesame seeds


  1. Follow the recipe for basic steamed rice rolls. After you have loosened the inverted cooked rice sheet onto an oiled tray, place a piece of fried Chinese cruller at one end and roll up firmly.
  2. Cut the rice rolls into segments and serve with fragrant soy sauce poured over. Garnish.
