Recipe Ingredient

  • 250g finely minced beef (or any meat preferred)
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped finely
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped finely
  • Spices:
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • Seasoning:
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1 small egg
  • 1/2 tbsp plain flour
  • Oil for frying


  1. Combine all chopped ingredients, spices and seasoning in a mixing bowl. Add the minced meat and stir in the egg to mix. Sprinkle flour on top and stir well to blend.
  2. Wet hands and make small balls from the mixture. Pat balls slightly flat and place on plastic sheets arranged on a plate. Refrigerate to harden the patties (for easy handling and frying).
  3. Deep-fry the patties in hot oil till golden. Drain well and serve with garlic chilli sauce.
